We are looking for an energetic and analytical Fresh Graduate to join our team as a Junior Odoo Functional Consultant. This is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between Finance/Accounting and Technology.
Key Responsibilities
1. Learning & Support
- Learn the functionalities of various Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting).
- Assist Senior Consultants in gathering and documenting business requirements from clients5.
- Help translate business needs into functional specifications under mentorship.
2. Configuration & Compliance (Nepal Context)
- Assist in configuring Odoo modules, specifically aligning them with Nepali accounting standards.
- Learn how to map Nepali taxation rules (VAT, TDS) into the Odoo system to generate compliant reports.
- Apply your academic knowledge of IRD regulations to ensure the software setup meets legal requirements.
3. Testing & Data Migration
- Conduct testing of system configurations to ensure they work as expected and are bug-free.
- Assist in migrating data (e.g., customer lists, product lists) from Excel or legacy systems into Odoo.
4. Documentation & Training
- Create clear and easy-to-understand user manuals and documentation for clients.
- Assist in preparing training materials and eventually deliver basic user training sessions.
5. Continuous Learning
- Keep yourself updated on the latest Odoo features and versions.
- Stay updated on changes in Nepali tax laws and IRD directives to ensure our solutions remain compliant.
